Children's Ministry
At Oak Bend Church, we want to “Reach, Teach, and Serve” people for Jesus Christ…and we have a specific heart for children and youth! During our service, we offer a nursery for infant-2 years old and Treehouse Children Ministry for 3 years old – 4th graders.
Highway 56 is our pre-teen ministry for 5th and sixth graders. The theme verse for this ministry comes from Proverbs 16:17, which says, “The highway of the upright avoids evil; he who guards his way guards his life.” Highway 56 meets the second and fourth Sunday of the month during the school year and occasional for social events.
We are not offering Awana during the 2023-24 school year. We hope to offer it next school year.
Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Oak Bend’s Awana program is for children and youth in Kindergarten-12th grade. Awana runs from September-April on Wednesdays from 6:15-7:45p and includes games, music, and messages geared towards your child’s age. For more information on Awana, go to www.awana.com.
Vacation Bible School is always an exciting time at Oak Bend for children 4 yrs old-5th grade.
