Meet Our Staff
Senior Pastor, Daniel Watkins
Pastor Daniel, his wife Kathy and their two sons, Andrew and Ethan joined the Oak Bend family in September of 2006 and their daughter Abby in 2009.
Daniel was raised in Hamilton, Ohio. He prepared for ministry at Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX. Outside of the ministry, Daniel enjoys running, astronomy, reading, playing with his children and time with his wife.
Kathy was raised in Lockland, Ohio. She attended Cedarville College where she studied Elementary Education. Following graduation, she taught for nine years. She works as a preschool teacher. She leads the Education Team. She enjoys scrapbooking, music and reading.
Their heart for Oak Bend is that it might be a place that has an ever-increasing passion for Jesus Christ and a heart to serve others.
Family & Outreach Pastor, Dustin Baughman
Pastor Dustin Baughman, his wife Carly and their son Malachi joined the Oak Bend family in December of 2018, Gabriel in 2020 and Willow in 2022. Dustin and Carly grew up in Perrysburg and are excited to be doing ministry in their hometown. Dustin holds degrees in education from BGSU and Ashland University. He’s worked with students his entire career, both as a teacher of students with disabilities and as a youth pastor. Dustin enjoys family time, nature, bike rides, reading and serving others.
Carly attended Kent State University and studied nursing. She is a Registered Nurse and mom, and she serves in student ministries where she loves having an impact on the lives of young women. Carly enjoys time with family, long walks, random adventures, and developing authentic relationships with people.
Their heart is that students would fall wildly in love with Jesus, find freedom in him, discover their purpose in life, and go and make a difference in the world.
Administrative Assistant, Caitlin Andrews
Caitlin joined the staff in October 2022. She grew up in Toledo and met her husband Scott at Oak Bend while attending youth group. They served as missionaries to the Czech Republic for many years. They returned to the states in January 2022 along with their son Jimmy. In July 2023 they were blessed with their daughter.
Secretary, Diane Sturdavant
Diane moved to Perrysburg in 1986 along with her husband Joe and their two sons, Jason and Adam. They became members of Oak Bend Church in 1987. Diane began to work in the church office as the Administrative Assistant in 1996. In 2022 she stepped down to care for her mother and now fills in as needed. She also serves on the Education Team.
